Still Looking to Get in The Win Column.

The Notre Dame Falcons fell for the third straight game to start the season Saturday. This one, a 87-70 loss to the Crimson Hawks of Indiana (PA.) (2-0.)
  The Crimson Hawks had four players tally double figures on the evening, led by Mathis Keita who had a game high 25 points. Marcel Souberbeille had 21, Devante Chance netted 15, and Devonte Cotrell rounded out the double figure scorers with 14.  The Crimson Hawks were red hot from the floor shooting 56 percent on the game, including a 50 percent clip from the 3-point line. They made 11 of 14 free throws for 79 percent. The Crimson Hawks easily won the rebounding battle 39-23. They had 19 assists and turned the ball over 16 times.
  The Falcons had three players score in double figures. Lawrence DeArmond had a team high 20 points, Tyree Gaiter had 13 of his 17 in the first half and Jarvis Huntley scored 10 to round out the double digit scorers. The Falcons shot 39 percent from the field. They were nine of 22 from the 3-point line (41 percent.) The Falcons were solid at the foul line, going 17-20 (85 percent.) That included a 12 of 13 clip in the second half. NDC had 13 assists and 13 turnovers.
  The Falcons will be back in action Saturday when they head to Athens, West Virginia to face Concord. It will be the Falcons first game in the Mountain East Conference. Tip time is slated for 4 PM.
