Home Cookin.

After a slow start to the season, the Notre Dame Falcons have started to put it together. This is the case, especially at home and Wednesday was no exception. The Falcons were a 85-75 winner over Urbana at Murphy Gym. The win completed a season sweep of the Blue Knights for the Falcons.
  NDC improved to 10-13 with the win. Five Falcons scored in double figures in the win. Lawrence DeArmond and Tyree Gaiter paced the Falcons with 20 points each. Gaiter added six assists and five rebounds as well. Eric Dummermuth had another solid effort, scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.  Jarvis Huntley netted 16, and Cam Carlin had 11 in the Falcons victory.
  The Falcons shot 47.5 percent from the field and drilled seven of 11 3-point attempts. The Falcons were a solid 80 percent (20-25) at the foul line. The Falcons had 12 assists and 20 turnovers.
  The Blue Knights fell to 10-17 on the year. They had four players score in double figures in the loss. Armond Battle led the way with 28 points for Urbana, Danny Goins had 13, Casey Baker had 12, and Ramel Mitchell netted 11. The Blue Knights shot 45 percent from the field, but they struggled from the 3-point line (3-17.) Urbana shot 67 percent (16-24) at the foul line. Each team had 36 rebounds. The Blue Knights had just 10 assists as opposed to 23 turnovers.
      The Falcons will be back in action Saturday afternoon when they host Cedarville. Tip time at Murphy Gym is set for 4 PM.
