Falcons Let One Slip Away.

The Notre Dame Falcons have been playing solid basketball of late and looked to be on the way to another victory but blew a 21 point lead in a 93-91 loss to Salem International.   NDC fell to 9-13 on the season with the loss. The Tigers snapped a seven game losing streak.
  NDC had five players tally double figures in the win. Eric Dummermuth led the Falcons with 26 points, Lawrence DeArmond tallied 22, Tyree Gaiter had a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.  Kaloma Figuero-Jackson added 13 and Jarvis Huntley netted 10. The Falcons shot 52 percent from the field and struggled from the 3-point line where they were four of 18. The Falcons were a solid 78 percent (21-27) at the foul line. NDC had 25 assists and 19 turnovers.
  The Tigers of Salem International rode a 60 point second half to the victory. Walter Brock poured in a game high 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the win. He was 9 of 13 from the field and hit 13 of 14 at the foul line. Kenneth McCornell had six 3-pointers en route to 24 points. The Tigers shot 48 percent  from the field and hit 10-21 from the 3-point line. The Tigers shot 73 percent (19-26) at the foul line. The Tigers had 41 rebounds to 33 for the Falcons. The Tigers had 17 assists and 22 turnovers.
NDC will be back in action Wednesday when they take on Urbana at Murphy Gym. Tip time is set for 7 PM.
