The Falcons struggled at the foul line where they shot just 57 percent (16-28.)  They had 22 assists and 12 turnovers.
Six of the eight Yellow Jackets  (10-13 6-13 MEC)  who saw the floor scored in double figures.  Bo King- and- Dimitrios Jelen Joy scored 22 and 21 points respectively- Steve Wing added 12- Angelo Sirianni and Dominic Phillips each scored 11- while Terry Wood had 10.

The first five minutes belonged to the Yellow Jackets and jumped out to a 15-4 lead.  The lead would be stretched to 12 (23-11) with 9:55 in the opening half.  The next two minutes saw the Falcons cut the lead to six (27-21) with 7:55 to go in the half.
The Jackets would make a 8-0 run of their own and lead by 14 (35-21) two minutes later.  The Falcons would make a 9-0 run later in the half and cut the Jackets lead to four  (43-39)  at the half.
The first 10 minutes of the second would go back and forth. A Kaloma Figueroa-Jackson layup would knot the score at 66 at the 11:29 mark. NDC could not get over the hump and grab the lead though.  Finally NDC would forge into the lead at the 4:07 mark (92-90) after a Gaiter jumper.  The game would continue to go back and forth up until the last minute.  King would nail a 3-pointer for the Yellow Jackets to give them a two point lead (99-97) with just under a minute to go.  The Falcons would tie it again at 99 on a Huntley layup with 48 seconds to go.
After a Yellow Jackets turnover NDC looked to have a chance to win it late but would turn it right back over as Juan Johnson would steal from Huntley.  King's layup at the other end would give the Yellow Jackets a two point lead (101-99) with 12 seconds.  The Falcons would have a shot to force OT but DeArmond's shot didn't fall as time expired.
NDC is back in action Saturday when they head to Charleston West Va. to battle the University of Charleston.  The tip will be at 4 PM.  Charleston was a easy 95-63 winner at Murphy Gym back on January 13th.
