Falcons Win Second Straight.

If only the Notre Dame Falcons could find a way to win a couple games away from Murphy Gym. The Falcons (4-9) improved to 4-2 at home with a 98-80 win over Ohio Midwestern on Saturday.  The Falcons have yet to win a true road game but are 4-2 at "The Murph".  NDC had three players score in double figures.  Lawrence DeArmond poured in a game high 30 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists.  Tryee Gaiter added 17, while Eric Dummermuth chipped in 11 for NDC. The Falcons shot 49 percent (32-66) from the field and went 7-23 from the 3-point line.  The Falcons made 77 percent (27-35) free throws.  They had 24 assists and 15 turnovers.
OMC fell to 5-10 on the year.  Greg Howard led the Rams with 28 points, Josh Chancellor netted 21, and Brandon Smith chipped in nine.  The Rams shot 44 percent (32-72) from the field.  They shot 33 percent (6-18) from the 3-point line. The Rams won the rebounding battle 41-40.  They shot 67 percent (10-15) at the foul line.  They had 13 assists and turned the ball over 25 times.
NDC will be back in action on Thursday when they will look for that illusive first road win when they take on Central State.  Tip time is set for 7:30 PM.
