Falcons Knock Off Blue Knights.

The Notre Dame Falcons (7-11) knocked off the Urabana Blue Knights 96-87 on Wednesday night for just there second road win of the season.
  In a game that saw five ties and three lead changes the Falcons came away with a hard fought win. Five Falcons scored in double figures. Tyree Gaiter paced the Falcons with 26 points and nine assists in 38 minutes.  Eric Dummermuth had 20 points in 21 minutes (foul trouble.) Kareem Figueroa Jackson (12,) Lawrence DeArmond (11 points and 12 rebounds,) and Jarvis Huntley (10) rounded out the double figure scorers.  The Falcons shot 52 percent from the field and hit on  35 percent (6-17) from the 3-point line.  NDC shot 71 percent (22-31) at the foul line. The Falcons handed out 18 assists and turned the ball over 10 times.
  The Blue Knights (9-11) had four players score in double figures. They shot 50 percent (31-62) from the field. Urbana did not shoot well from the 3 point line (3-20) or from the foul line (61 percent.) The Blue Knights won on the boards 37-36. They had 16 assists and 17 turnovers.
  The Falcons will be back in action Wednesday 2/6 when they take on Central State. Tip time is set for 7 PM.
