Falcons Return Home Thursday.

The Notre Dame College Falcons (15-9 9-9 MEC) return home Thursday to battle the Virginia Wise Cavaliers (7-17 5-13 MEC.)  The game will tip at 730 PM inside Murphy Gym and you can see video of the game on NotreDameFalcons.com.
  NDC comes into Thursday off of a 0-3 road trip to Charleston, Shepherd and Fairmont State. The last time out the Falcons were a 93-80 loser to the Fighting Falcons.  Will Vorhees led NDC with a double-double (20 points and 10 rebounds-) while Kyauta Taylor added 16 points and Drew Scarberry scored 14.  Ja'Sean Lewis narrowly missed a double-double (nine points and 11 rebounds.)
  NDC comes into Thursday averaging 82.7 points a night- while on the defensive end they allow 81.7 a contest.  The out rebound the opponent by almost four rebounds a contest (41.4 to 37.6-) The Falcons shoot 46 percent from the field and 36 percent from the 3-point line. They make 9.8 3-pointer's a contest as a team.
 Vorhees has been the leading scorer and rebounder for NDC all season long. The Columbus Grove native averages 26.2 points and 10.3 rebounds a night- Kyauta Taylor continues to be second on the team in scoring at 21 points per contest- and leads the team in steals with 36.  Drew Scarberry averages 10 points per game- and- shoots at a 46.3 percent clip from the 3-point line.  Ja'Sean Lewis continues to stuff the stat sheet, as he averages 8.7 points- 10 rebounds and 5.4 assists a night.
  The Cavaliers are coming off a 88-66 loss to West Liberty on Saturday.  Taiwo Badmus led the Cavaliers with 18 points- while Tajh Eason and Chance Sheffey scored 11 points each.  The Cavaliers come into Thursday night averaging 78 points a game- while they give up 85.7 per night.  They are just 1-7 away from home on the season.  They are being out rebounded by five boards a night (39.5-34.5)
  Badmus leads Wise averaging 20.9 points and 10.2 rebounds a contest- Dimitri Sousa scores 17.3 a game- while Michal Seals chips in 14.8 points and dishes out a team leading 5.7 assists a contest.
  NDC was a 98-89 winner in the first meeting between the teams back on January 10th at the Prior Center. Taylor led the way with 32- while Vorhees had 21 to go along with 17 rebounds in that one.
Wise was led by 24 from Seals- Badmus had 23 and 16 rebounds- while Ricardo Hill Jr. added 14.
