Z and Lebron Break Records, Cavs Win Ninth Straight!
Lebron James passed Mark Price as the Cavs "all-time" steals leader, Zydrunas Ilgauskas passed Brad Daughtery as the franchise rebounding leader, and the Cleveland Cavaliers rolled to a 114-94 win over the Toronto Raptors at Quicken Loans Arena.
Lebron was one of three Cavaliers in double figures on Tuesday night. He poured in 31 points, while Wally Sczerbiak chipped in 16 ,and Maurice Williams had 13 for the wine and gold (18-3). The Cavaliers remained undefeated (12-0) at home this season by shooting 49% from the field, and hitting 20 of 23 free throws, as well as 8-22 from long range. Lebron did not play the fourth quarter for the sixth time in the past eight games due to the way Cleveland has been destroying opponents.
The Raptors (8-12) also had three players in double figures. Joey Graham led the way with 17, while they got 14 from Jose Calderon and 10 from Roko Ukic. The Raptors shot 45% from the floor, but allowed way too many dunks and layups. Toronto hit 6 of 17 from distance and was 24 of 32 at the charity stripe. The Cavs will be back in action Wednesday night as they will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Sixers. Tip time is set for 7:30 PM.
