Falcons Look To Bounce Back Saturday.

The Notre Dame College Falcons (0-1) look to bounce back from a tough double overtime loss Friday night when they take on the Falcons of Saint Augustine's University (0-1) on Saturday. Tip time is set for 3 PM inside the Joe Retton Arena at Fairmont State.
  NDC was led by 37 points from Kyauta Taylor on Friday night, but could not hang on after leading most of the way.  Levi Frankland added 17 points in his college debut- Will Vorhees scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds despite not starting on Friday night.  Drew Scarberry added 11- while Angelo Cugini posted a double-double (10 points and 11 rebounds.)
  NDC shot 46 percent as a team and 32 percent (10-31) from the 3-point line.  The Falcons shot 73 percent (27-37) at the free throw line.  They had 20 assists as a team, but had trouble taking care of the ball committing 28 turnovers.
  Saint Augustine's  was a 86-63 loser to host Fairmont State on Friday. The Falcons were led by 21 points and 14 rebounds  from Quincy January.  Kasey Bryant added 12 points- while Quinton Morrow and Kenneth Collins added 10 points each.  The Falcons shot 41 percent as a team- and- went 4-14 (29 percent) from the 3-point line.  They were 5-7 (71 percent) at the free throw line.  The Falcons had 11 assists and 15 turnovers in the opener.
