The Marauders hit five free throws in the final minute to ice the victory for Millersville.
NDC redshirt sophomore Drew Scarberry was quick to put the tough loss in perspective:
" We just have to get better at hitting the boards on both ends of the court.  Need to execute better when we come out of timeouts.  But at the end of the day it's only our first game of a long season.  We can learn from this and move onto tomorrow and come out with a vengeance ready to go." Scarberry said.
NDC will be back in action Saturday at 3 PM when they take on Saint Augustine at Joe Retton Arena.
