Falcons Fly Past Washington Adventist.

On a night when senior forward  Eric Dummermuth became the leading scorer in the short program history of the school, the Notre Dame College Falcons improved to 9-12 on the season with a 95-73 win over Washington Adventist at Murphy Gym. Dummermuth passed Jerome Pierce (2004-08) as the school's top scorer. Dummermuth had 20 in the win. He was one of five Falcons in double figures on the night. Tyree Gaiter netted 17, Lawrence DeArmond had 16, Cameron Carlin had 14, and Jarvis Huntley added 10. The Falcons shot 47 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from the 3-point line (10-21.) NDC shot 79 percent at the foul line (19-24.) The Falcons had 17 assists and 11 turnovers.
  The Shock fell to 8-17 on the year with the loss. Harvey Todd netted 20 points to pace WAU, Stephon Berry netted 16, and Elliott Meredith had 11 in the loss. The Shock shot 38 percent from the field and went 3-13 (23 percent) from the 3-point line. The Shock shot 64 percent at the foul line (18-28.) The Shock won the battle on the boards 46-41. They had 19 miscues and just 10 assists though.
  The Falcons jumped out quickly and led 24-10 with 10:52 to go.  The Falcons stretched that lead to 17, before the Shock cut the lead to seven with 3:45 in the opening half. The Falcons would lead 40-31 at the break.
  NDC stretched it's lead to 14 (51-37) early in the second half. Gaiter would hit a 3-pointer at the 10:50 mark to cap a Falcons run that saw Dummermuth score seven points and stretched their lead to 22. Dummermuth would break the record at the 4:49 mark on a bank shot from the left block on a pass from Carlin. The Falcons would get the win and have a new all time leading scorer.
  NDC will hit the road to West Virginia and take on Salem International. Saturday's tip will be at 4 PM.
