Oilers Roll Past NDC.

The Findlay Oilers improved to 2-1 on the season as they rolled 86-58 at Croy Gymansium.  The loss dropped the Notre Dame College Falcons to 1-3 on the year.
  The Oilers had four players tally double figures on the evening. Greg Kahlig led the way with a double-double (18 points and 12 rebounds, Alphonso Baity and Aaron Robinson netted 13 each). Jack Smith added ten to round out the double digit scorers for the Oilers. Findlay shot 34.7% on the night but nailed 42.9 percent (12-28) from the 3-point line. Findlay made good on 73.3% of it's free throws (22-30). The Oilers crushed NDC on the glass 55-36 (34- 17 on the offensive end). They had 17 assists and 14 turnovers on the night.
  The Falcons had just one player in double figures. Eric Dummermuth had a double-double for the fourth straight game (10 points and 11 rebounds). Two players, Jarvis Huntley and Dylan Hickoff added nine each. The Falcons shot 38.6% from the floor but struggled from the 3-point line. NDC was just 3-16 (18.8%) from the 3-point line. NDC was 11 of 14 from the foul line and had just four  assists to 22 turnovers.
  Findlay controlled this one from start to finish. The Oilers got off to a slow start and trailed 2-1 after the games first two and a half minutes. Findlay would take control after a 15-2 run and lead 16-4. They would control the game for the rest of the half and would have a 24 point lead (51-27). Findlay would roll the rest of the way and roll the rest of the way.
  The Falcons will be back in action when they take on Hiram at Murphy Gym Saturday. Tip time is set for 4 PM.
