Taylor's Career Night Not Enough For Falcons.

Marcquice Taylor scored a career high 31 points at Murphy gymnasium Wednesday night but it was not enough as Notre Dame fell 70-64 to Roberts Wesleyan.

The loss for NDC (4-11) was there seventh straight. The Falcons fell to 2-4 at home with the loss. It is the Falcon's longest losing streak since losing 16 in a row to close out the 2003 season. That was the second season of the program. Taylor was 11-21 from the floor and 8-9 at the foul line in his career night. Phil Biggs added 12 points for the Falcons. NDC shot 41 percent from the floor and went just 4-16 from the 3-point line. The Falcons had a solid night at the foul line going 12-13 (92 percent). They had 10 assists to just 13 turnovers.
The Raiders (5-13) snapped a six game losing skid of their own with the win. It was the first win since December 7th for the Raiders and first road win since November 4th. Alif Bland led three Raiders in double figures with 23 points to go along with 7 rebounds. Mike Stone chipped in 14 and William Kemp-Harris netted 13 for RWC. The Raiders shot 46 percent from the floor and 43 percent from 3-point land in the win. The Raiders shot 92 percent (11-12) at the foul line. The Raiders crushed the Falcons on the glass 41-25. They had 13 assists and 17 turnovers in the win.
The Falcons will be back in action Saturday when they host Malone. Tip time is set for 4 PM.
