Falcons Even Up Home Record With Friday Win.

The Notre Dame Falcons improved to 6-12 on the season with a 82-59 thrashing of Wilberforce on Friday night at Murphy Gym. The win evened the Falcons home record at 4-4 on the season.

Four NDC players scored in double figures in this one. Phil Biggs continued his recent tear scoring 19 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Marcquice Taylor put in 18 points on a seven of nine shooting from the floor while Raphi Tekie was a perfect five for five from the floor and three for three from 3-point range for his 13 points. Troy Baugh chipped in 10 points. The Falcons shot 60 percent from the floor and a red hot 64 percent from the 3-point line. The Falcons were 9-12 at the foul line, they had 18 assists to just eight turnovers.
The Bulldogs fell to 8-15 on the season with the loss. The loss also snapped a brief two game winning streak for Wilberforce. A pair of Bulldogs scored in double figures on the night. Ronald Hightower led the way with 19 points, while Chris Olafioye netted 10. The Bulldogs shot 42 percent but stuggled from three, going just 4-18. They did not help themselves at the foul line hitting just 7-14. The Bulldogs dominated the glass 38-23. They had five assists to just 15 turnovers.
NDC will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to Tiffin. Tip time is set for 7:30 PM.
