Beaten At The Buzzer.

The short-handed Notre Dame Falcons (1-3) fell to the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson 66-65 on a 18 footer at the horn by Zach Belhy. Belhy lead all scorers with 26 points as the Presidents improved to 3-3 on the season. NDC was without Eric Dummermuth and Nate Ensz who both are nursing injuries.

The game started in the Faclcons favor as they would jump out to a 27-16 lead behind the shooting of Taylor Reiger and Marcquise Taylor. The Presidents would quickly erase that deficit, before the Falcons would take a six point lead into the halftime break 32-26.
NDC would score the first three points of the second half to open up a nine point lead. Then it would be the Presidents who would rip off a 27-9 run that looked to put them in command. The Falcons would then go on a 10-0 spurt to take a three point lead on a Reiger three that would make it 62-59. The Presidents would tie it on a traditional three point play. The Falcons would get the lead back after the Presidents had a brief one point lead. Troy Baugh would give the Falcons the lead on a runner with 18 seconds to play and that would set up the Presidents last second heroics.
