The Notre Dame Falcons did two things they have not done all season long on Wednesday at Wilberforce. NDC won in conference play for the first time in the 2010-11 season and also won a true road game for the first time on the campaign.

Four Falcons scored in double figures on the day as they improved to 6-9 overall and 1-2 in the AMC. Eric Dummermuth scored 23 points to lead the Falcons attack. Nate Ensz scored 17 points and blocked 4 shots. Phil Biggs added his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Rodney Mickens rounded out the Falcon double digit scorers netting 11. The Falcons shot 52.0 percent for the game including a red hot 16-22 (73%) in a second half that saw them outscore the Bulldogs 48-36. The Falcons also had a solid night at the charity stripe where they were 24-30 (80%). They had 18 miscues to go along with 18 assists.
Wilberforce dropped their fifth straight contest and fell to 2-11 on the season. The Bulldogs are now 0-5 in the AMC. The Bulldogs had a trio of players in double figures on the evening. Darius Foster led the way with 22 points. Tremayne Scott posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. Chris Olafloye chipped in 17 on the night. The Bulldogs shot 36% from the floor on the night (28-77). They could not find the bucket from long range going just 3 of 22. The Bulldogs also struggled from the charity stripe hitting 6-12 (50%). The Bulldogs did win the battle on the glass 41-40. They had 14 turnovers to go along with just 12 assists.
NDC will be back in action Saturday when they face the Cavaliers from Walsh (14-0). Walsh is the defending AMC Champ and was the runner up in the NAIA DII tourney a year ago. Tip time in Canton on Saturday is set for 4 PM.
