It was West Virginia Wesleyan that got off to the quick start in this one, as they would lead by nine (21-12) at the 12:35 mark of the opening half.  NDC would score the next five points to get to within four (21-17) after a Taylor 3-pointer at the 11:40 mark of the half.  The Bobcats would stretch the lead out to 11 (39-28) at the intermission.
The second half would be a whole different story.  After trading baskets in the opening minute, The Falcons would go on a 12-0 run to give them a 43-41 lead after a Gaiter layup. The lead would be short-lived as the Bobcats would take the lead back 48-45 at the 12:12 mark.  The Bobcats looked to be back in command before NDC would get the lead back on a Taylor 3-pointer at the 6:31 mark (54-53.)  Taylor score seven  points in a matter of minutes to spark the 10-0 run.  NDC would hang on for the win, as they would get some crucial baskets from Vorhees and Gaiter down the stretch. Gaiter would hit six free throws in the final minute to put it away, while Lewis added his only point of the game from the foul line.
NDC will be back in action Saturday when they take on Glenville State at Murphy Gym. Tip time is set for 4 PM.
