NDC Dominates Mavericks.

The NDC Falcons (5-8) out played Ohio State Mansfield in every aspect of the game as they destroyed the Mavericks 134-59 in the opening round of the Holiday Inn Notre Dame Basketball tournament. Every Falcon saw the floor and scored in this contest. Eight Falcons scored in double figures in this one. Curtis McClure led the way with 25 points. He was 12-15 from the floor in the contest. Nathan Ensz had 14 for the Falcons. Eric Dummermuth had yet another double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in just 20 minutes. Taylor Reiger and Troy Baugh would net 13 points each. Steve Savel had 15 and Victor Pappas 10 to round out the double digit scorers for the Falcons. NDC shot 65% from the floor in the game. The Falcons were 6-17 from three point land and 10-21 (47%) from the charity stripe. NDC had a huge edge on the boards 41-22. The Falcons had 12 miscues.

The Mavericks (0-16) only dressed six players. They put four of them in double digits. Curtis Remy led the way with 16 points, Brett Emmerine added 15, (First name not Available) Brown had 13 and Jamal Marsh added 11. The Mavericks shot just 33% from the field in the game. The Mavericks struggled from beyond the arc going 10-35. OSUM only got to the charity stripe 1 time and made the free throw. The Mavericks did not help themselves with 22 miscues.
NDC will be back in action Thursday at 3 PM when they face Lake Erie College (3-6). The Storm used a furious second half rally to beat Windsor 73-67 in the nightcap Wednesday. Windsor will face OSU- Mansfield at 1 PM Thursday in the consolation game.
